How to Add Time
Add the hours, minutes, and seconds separately. If seconds exceed 60, carry over to minutes; if minutes exceed 60, carry over to hours.
Total = Sum of hours : Sum of minutes (÷60 carry) : Sum of seconds (÷60 carry)
Example
2:45:30 + 1:30:45
Seconds: 30+45 = 75 → 1 min 15 sec carry
Minutes: 45+30+1 = 76 → 1 hr 16 min carry
Hours: 2+1+1 = 4
Result: 4:16:15
